Mambo. Again.

I just had the best night ever! I went clubbing @ Zouk: Mambo night with Steph and Andrew and it was fuckin awesome. We had an entire tray of shots, and 4 or 5 jugs of vodka redbull. And we just danced the night away. And then Mark and Aloy came with a bunch of their friends, and they're so much fun to club with! haha .. they were all quite drunk, but it was cool anyway. Can't wait for mambo next week. haha
Oh, and i wonder who will get eliminated tomorrow night. HAHAH :P

Well, i've rebranded once again. I got really tired of Subterfuge Ink. Not only was it a name that was hard to remember, but i was starting to feel that the colours were too dark. Too boring, not to mention that the entire site took years to load.
So, I wanted to make something simple, easy to navigate and extremely quick to load. And Lithium was born. Well, I've taken down a lot of things, and i'm only keeping up a small selection of pieces for display. Will be updating this more frequently than before.
Oh, and anyone and everyone is invited to Zouk tomorrow for mambo night. I haven't gone for 2 weeks and i'm already itching to get my groove back. HAHA .. yes, and if you're lucky enough to find me at the right time, then i'll treat u to some shots (while stocks last). (:

And what have I been doing with my free time? Well, I'm planning to build a paper army. See, Pam is the glammest person alive, because she sent out links to these 3 websites that she wanted to share. And one happened to be that off Shin Tanaka. And Shin's a prodigical japanese boy. Well, he's not a boy, he's probably around 20ish.. but still, talented as hell. And I was instantly hooked.
So, I e-mailed him, told him I was interested in making some 'Gritty's and sent him a link to my deviant art. And within a day we had already agreed to do a collaboration. So here comes the Lithium Gritty. I spent most of yesterday designing two of my very own Gritty-s and then chugged them back to him. So now he's preparing the template for them to be built up, and he will soon be displaying my Gritty along with the rest of his collection. Sweet ey.

I've been in the newsroom from monday to today, that's 3 days. I miss sleeping in my bed. I miss food that isn't delivered from McDonalds. I miss my dog. I hate sleeping at 5am on the floor and getting up at 8.
It's been quite frankly, hell, the past few days. Hype is still not out yet. We're all pulling our hair out and more than ready to start snapping at each other. But there have been high points. We have beer. HAHA .. and there's tonnes of freedom to smoke around here in the middle of the night. THey've been replacing the railings around the block so we get to sit by the edge and stare into the space below us, telling stupid ghost stories.
We've all been plotting a huge mass suicide party.

Man.. I haven't blogged in ages. I've been really busy, what with Hype going offstone (which still hasn't happened by the way). This week has been crazy, sleeping late and waking up at ungodly hours. Wed and thurs was Singapore Idol, and I was editting photos through the wee hours of the morning, and friday i got to see charbee & co! We went to baybeats. It was okay la.. but it was super-duper-cool seeing them all again. And then I had to wake up fricken early on sat morning for my bike theory test - which i passed. Yay!
Anyhoo, hockey was damn stressful yesterday. haha .. I played for line 1. And playing with Daniel and Bronson is mafucking stressful cause they're both so pro and i'm still playing like shit. LOL.. I had like 3725634235245 shots at the goal and I only scored once. Haha .. quite sad.

Listening to You Could Have It So Much Better by Franz Ferdinand
Orite, i think I wrote my last entry when i was kinda drunk, and I feel kinda stupid now. But I'll stand by what I said, I love Andrew. I would marry him if I could. Hehe .. I'm officially halfway through my bike lessons! hehe .. now if mediacorp would just fucking pay me then i'd be on my way.
I just watched Domino, which is by far one of the best movies ever. The cinematography was just fucking amazing, and the plot was fantastic. Keira Knightly was so gorgeous that I was willing to turn lesbian throughout the course of the show. It's one of those movies that just blows you away and leaves you hanging off the edge of your couch. It's one of those movies with a whole lot of violence and course language except that this one actually had a good plot and a great lead actress. It's a fucking rollercoaster.
Now I just wanna tattoo myself up and have sex with a hot, rugged man in the middle of the desert. By the way, Keira Knightly reveals her tits in the movie. For those of you who are interested. heheehe .. she's got mosquito bites but she's still mafucking hot, just like me. HAHA
Anyhoo, I feel like I'm in some weird dimension, I haven't seen charbee and co in years.. Mavis has become a mat-rocker and jules has become a clubbing whore. Wtf. I'm so weirded out. HAHA .. I've been hanging out with Steph and Gerald and Lionel nearly everyday now (btw, Gerald is my future husband) .. I've got so little money that I'm struggling to pay for ice time and I've got enough left in my account for ONE more bike lesson. I want to buy a fucking helmet because the ones at the school are so mahfucking smelly.
U know ever since I started taking driving/riding lessons, I've been so paranoid about traffic after all the horror stories they tell us. And even though I still jay walk and shit, I'm much more careful. And today, right after my bike lesson, I had just crossed the road when this smelly school kid went running across the road and almost got hit by a bus. Not just one bus, but two busses. Both had to E-brake and the guy in the car behind the busses wound down his window and started shouting at the kid. He was wearing some white uniform and looked like he was 14. And the stupid cocky bastard just stood at the side of the road and laughed to his friend, who was still on the other side of the road.
His friend, who i think had atleast an ounce of brains had stayed there and was totally freaked by the scene he had just witnessed. So he waited for the traffic to move on and when the road was clear he ran across and started telling the first kid off.
Stupid: HAHAHAH DID U SEE THAT?
Smart: Yes, that was so stupid, are you crazy?
Stupid: It was so funny! was is like, damn close?
Smart: YES! The bus was so near to you! I thought it was really going to hit you!
Stupid: HAHAAH .. That's so funny!

Stupid: Don't worry, It's not just one time la, this is like, the 6th time i've done this.

kuku mingWent to Zouk clubbing yesterday with Steph and Andrew and his friends. It was so much fun. Haha .. Like i always don't like clubbing but usually once i get there i tend to enjoy myself. And last night was no exception. Andrew is so much fun, i love him so much! hahahaha .. so anyways. We majorly over-ordered. It was happy hour and we kinda went crazy. So, we ended up with 4 jugs and 26 shots for just 3 of us. Oh dood. It was fucking hilarious. We had about 8-9 shots each and a jug apiece, and then we had to get people to finish off the last jug. It was so hilarious. We spent most of the time learning each other's dance moves.

Oh dood, i'm in love with Jason Mraz. I got so hooked on Geek in Pink that I bought his album. Which i've had on loop all day. Hehe.. Anyhoo.. life in the Newsroom has been pretty haywire.. there's been a fuckload of last minute projects. But it seems NIKE is interested in advertising with us, and buying our fashion spread. Which means sponsored clothes! woo. haha .. exciting. Anyhoo.. this week's so jam packed.. I've been going out every night. Went to JB last night, it was so funny cause Lionel was freaking out about getting robbed or raped in JB, which was ironic since we there were 7 of us, and 5 of which are guys. And we ate so much! Just went there and got cigarettes, beer and food.
Hehe .. anyhoo, going to zouk tonight and i've got idol on tmrw.. I think the winners are pretty clear-cut this time round as well. Hope it won't be as draggy as last week, cause the studio happens to be mafucking cold. And sometimes there aren't enough chairs so I have to sit on the bloody floor in front of the stage. Yerr.. ah well. But as much as i whine about it I still miss mediacorp. I was so happy to be back there last week. haha .. Got to have dinner with Juan and I got to see Andrew and Chris and the rest of the crew again! And i got to see Freddy too! And of course the idols, i have developed this weird protectiveness over a lot of them. hehe .. right.

Woar.. This week is progressing very, very slowly. Singapore Business Review finally went to print! I'm ecstatic. No more lunch that costs up to $10 everyday, no more climbing 3 flights of stairs everyday, no more having 30-year-old white men staring at u everyday. And this time it wasn't some rebound lucky shot, this time, it was planned and it was beautiful. hahahhaha .. i feel so fucking good. Ok, and i know u guys are gonna be like 'so what?' but the truth is that i'm a fucking tiny little junior player. There are 8 year old kids who play ice hockey better than me. And I still have a fucking long way to go. So, having said that, it is a big deal.
Yes. So. Moving on. On Sunday we went up to JB, i went with K2, and Daniel rode his bike in with Mun Jun, and Peter met us there. We went to see Howard and in the end we didn't even get to see him. So glam right. BUT, we did eat. And eat. And Eat. AND, I got to ride Daniel's bike! SO FUCKING FUN! See, last sat after hockey Mavis rode Arron's bike (in her sexay FBT shorts), and she said it was damn fun. And I have never been on a bike before. So, i decided to try, and JB is a great place for ur first time on a bike isn't it? HAHAHA .. yeah, it was damn exciting, a bit scary, but exciting. And Daniel drives really fast but he's steady so it was quite cool.
YARR. Anyhoo, David (Harry Potter) is leaving this coming monday, which is like, FWOAR DAMN FAST. So i think I should spend as much time as i can with him. And Steph is coming back on Friday! Yeah, now i finally have a girlfriend to hang out with. I realised that I only have 3 girls who are constant in my life now, Jules, Mavis and Pra. My two other favourite girls are overseas. So. It's quite scary. All my friends are boys. BOYS. And i am still single. How is that even possible?
I feel sad.
Woar.. This week is progressing very, very slowly. Singapore Business Review finally went to print! I'm ecstatic. No more lunch that costs up to $10 everyday, no more climbing 3 flights of stairs everyday, no more having 30-year-old white men staring at u everyday. But then again, I will miss seeing jules everyday, even though her stupid whining about her broken heart irritated me. And I will miss Liy's weird antics, and Hajar talking about white men, and Kyle with his lovely sexy voice, and Pam and her 'wahrao!'.
